NAILSTONE COLLIERY – B585 JUNCTION IMPROVEMENTS
As you may already be aware, Leicestershire County Council (LCC) have entered into an agreement with the developer of the former Nailstone Colliery Site, to deliver the highway improvement planning obligations associated with the planning permission to develop the site granted by Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council.
The works funded by the developer, being delivered by LCC and starting on 30th September 2019, are as follows:
In order to facilitate these works, it will be necessary to use a combination of road closures and temporary traffic lights to ensure the safety of road users, the public and site operatives, with details published on a dedicated website (currently being prepared) following a press release:
https://www.leicestershire.gov.uk/nailstone-colliery-b585-junction-improvements
Throughout the project we will work closely with our Contractor to keep the disruption to yourselves and other road users to an absolute minimum but would apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by our works.
If you have any questions about the works once they start on site, please contact James Quick on 0116 305 2263.
If you would like to know further information about the scheme, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards
