Candidate – Tony Harrison

My name is Tony Harrison and I am 62 and retired. My partner Cath and I moved to Nailstone in 2013 and live in a cottage on Occupation Road that we are slowly renovating.

In 2017 we joined Nailstone Community Group and have been actively involved in organising and helping out at various community events.

In February 2018 I stood and was elected onto the Parish Council. One of my beliefs when standing was that the village could achieve much more if the various organisations joined forces and worked together. If re-elected that would remain a key objective for me on the Council (as well as continuing with my lorry and dog poo watch responsibilities of course 😊)

For the first time in 50 years we are having a full election for the Parish Council and it’s exciting to see the passion for our community that has brought this about. I hope I will be re-elected to be part of the exciting times ahead.
